Sporty McSporterson exists to celebrate the pure and unobscured joy of sport for the sake of sport. Stripping away the pomp and circumstance and simply appreciating sports for what they are—children, youth and grown adults playing games while other children, youth and grown adults get far too invested in the outcomes.
It’s a beautiful thing, these feats of athleticism. And maybe—just maybe—we need to step back every so often and do nothing but enjoy how ridiculous they can be.
